India’s Madras Atomic Power Station is a complete nuclear power production, fuel reprocessing and plutonium production facility. It is a prime Indian nuclear weapons fuel production complex. The coordinates are 12°33’19″N 80°10’28″E. The site’s airspace is watched via a DRDO 3D CAR (Central Acquisition Radar) site about 4 kilometers north of the power plant. The site also has a permanent point air defense site, containing two Bofors 40mm anti-air guns plus a Fire Control Radar, 2 km north of the plant. The site is in Kalpakkam, Chennai on the eastern coast of India. The site is 1,650 kilometers away from the Pakistani border.
