Pakistan-Turkey bilateral military exercises ATATURK-2021 were conducted at SSG Special Operation School in Tarbela, KPK, Pakistan. Turkish special forces are in Pakistan for a three-week exercise with the Pakistani Special Services Group.
The purpose of the exercise is to develop cooperation and interoperability between the elements of the Pakistani and Turkish Armed Forces.
The exercises have been held annually since 1998, alternately in Pakistan and Turkey. They are called ATATURK exercises when in Pakistan and JINNAH exercises in Turkey.
