USS John F. Kennedy: A Fire Broke out on Monday morning while one of the most advance Aircraft Carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) Docked at Newport Ship Building

USS John F. Kennedy or Formally Called as CVN-79 a Variant of Kitty Hawk Class, and a last conventionally powered Aircraft Carrier built for US Navy. The Carrier bears the displacement of 100,000 DWT. Powered by 8 × Babcock & Wilcox boilers the carrier maintains the maximum speed of 34 Knots with Maximum Load Capacity. The carrier is armed with Mark 29 Launchers of Sea Sparrow Missile, 2 x Phalanx CIWS and RAM Launchers.

As per the state agency, The small fire broke out around 10:15 a.m. local time on Monday, July 20 2020 and the workers were evacuated Work aboard the carrier was suspended for a time as the ship was ventilated, no injuries were reported on an aircraft carrier and fire has been extinguished after few hours of broke out. Carrier is currently docked at Newport Ship Building, Virginia, United States.

Newport Shipbuilding is investigating the cause of this incident, after another recent fire aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard in San Diego. The amphibious assault ship (LHD6) burned for days, causing considerable damage to the worthy asset of United States Naval Forces.
